So what if its been over a year?
School: Done. I finished in May with my Masters in Social Work. I ended the semester on probation because I was so quiet in class that teachers made up bullshit perspectives for me... great stuff... but I believe we had everything straightened out. I had to be punished with probation just 'cuz though. Social Workers are nucking futs.
Life: Recovering. Living at home again and working at my family's store while hoping that my mother chills out enough so that her health improves. LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) test is scaring me. I may try to work for a juvenile drug treatment facility, but I get mixed messages from family. They push for a "real job," but then they act helpless at the store sometimes. I'm moderately confused.
Relationships: Single for the longest period of my life and feeling rather angsty. Recent examinations of friendships have been odd... several are really one-sided, so I think I have a newfound respect for Rachael getting annoyed with babbling at times. I think I might try calling up a couple of old highschool/college friends and see if I can catch up.
Work-Outs: Sporadic... bought some DDR pads and trying to figure out which game since I really do not want to go to a Civic Center when it is really fucking cold.
Comic Books: Peter being back is fucking awesome, yay for Jean being dead, and Claremont officially can't write anything other than baseball, pool parties, or christmas issues.
Anime: Umm... nope... nothing really notable lately. Everyone should own Interstella 5555 though. Leiji Matsumoto + Daft Punk = Win.
Manga: I'm addicted to Kare Kano which is totally girly. Sgt. Frog sends me into hysterics. I'm probably going to finally give Five Star Stories a decent try.
Movies: DVD Aficionado is a great way to catalog a collection. Movie Gallery Buy 2 Get 2 Free offers have been nice for my collection. I have been on a slight Godzilla binge lately. Returner was a surprising little gem. I nabbed it a B2G2F offer and it is something I've seen in Wal-Mart bargain bins. I think it is the best straight action movie that I have seen since... well... The Transporter probably.
Video Games: I'm looking forward to SRW Original Generation 2, which will very likely be my final FAQ for quite sometime. San Andreas is really fun. I picked up Megaman Anniversary Collection (after trading in the perceived crap that is Fire Emblem) today, and I am looking forward to spending some quality time with the Power Battles arcade games on that disc.
